General Manager

We are looking for a General Manager to join the newest and “fastest” family entertainment group in industry. Slick City is a first of its kind indoor slide park that is “Fast as Friction”. The General Manager is the life-blood of our organization. An amazing GM takes an average park and make it a top performing park. An amazing GM has the opportunity to mentor and uplift young adults within the community, and prepare them for success in future endeavors. An amazing GM can promote positivity and safety within the park and community. This job is more than just being a store manager.

Execution and driving results at the park level is the key to success at Slick City North Aurora. The GM runs their businesses like owners, and drive company initiatives. This is a full time, salaried position that reports to a Regional Team.

The GM will be assigned a park and be responsible for all events, including but not limited to birthday party bookings, revenue building, park budget and reading P&L statements. The GM will be responsible for meeting and exceeding corporate goals in their park while driving profitability and upholding and adhering to company standards, with an emphasis on positive guest experiences. We are looking for leaders who create other leaders.

  • Safety and cleanliness
  • Overseeing performance of the team.
  • Leading the team to meet and exceed goals while taking responsibility for outcomes.
  • Ensuring the best customer service in the city.
  • Upholding company and industry safety and sanitation standards.
  • Motivating the team to meet company goals and promote a culture of positivity.
  • Managing park P&Ls to ensure park’s profitability and efficiency.
  • Places an emphasis on positive guest experiences in order to ensure positive traffic year-over-year.
  • Enforce park rules to uphold a safe, family-friendly environment.
  • Oversee the operations of the park including cash and sales control, party management and set-up, inventory management and park opening/closing procedures.
  • Accountable for everything that transpires in the park, including but not limited to sales, safety, cleanliness and any injuries or incidents that may occur at park.
  • Report bad news immediately. Always be transparent in your work.

Deliverables:

  • A safe park.
  • Positive traffic year-over-year.
  • Meeting or exceeding company goals (birthday parties, membership sales, events, etc).
  • A positive reputation in the community.
  • Develop talent within the park.

  • Performance Management– will manage performance of team members and ensure that company goals and policies are being met and followed, respectively.
  • Talent Management– will mentor Assistant Managers and Team Members
  • Collaboration– will work with other GMs and reach out to Regional Team for assistance with projects.

Requirements:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
