Your Role:
The General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of park operations to ensure outstanding guest experiences, financial success, and team development. This is a full-time, salaried role reporting to the Ownership Team.
The GM is accountable for overall park performance, including staffing and scheduling, team training and development, birthday party and group bookings, revenue growth, and budget management. Acting with an ownership mindset, the GM drives company initiatives, maintains high operational standards, and ensures profitability while fostering a culture centered on safety, fun, and guest satisfaction. The GM will inspire, mentor, and develop their team, creating an environment where both employees and guests thrive. As the General Manager you’ll be responsible for:
1. Safety & Cleanliness
- Ensure the park operates at the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and cleanliness. Enforce rules to maintain a safe, family-friendly environment and address all incidents appropriately.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and develop team members into future leaders. Oversee staff performance, motivate the team, and foster a positive, guest-focused culture.
3. Guest Experience Excellence
- Deliver the best guest service in the market by creating memorable experiences, resolving concerns promptly, and driving positive community reputation.
4. Operational Oversight
- Manage all aspects of daily park operations, including scheduling, inventory management, party/event execution, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures.
5. Financial Management
- Oversee the park’s P&L, manage budgets effectively, and drive revenue growth through memberships, parties, events, and traffic year-over-year.
6. Accountability & Communication
- Take full ownership of park performance. Report transparently to the Regional Team on successes, challenges, and incidents, ensuring alignment with company goals and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Recreation Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and proven management experience accepted
- 2+ years of management experience
- Experience leading and developing teams of 15+ employees in a fast-paced environment
- Background in entertainment, hospitality, retail, food service, or recreation strongly preferred
- Ability to manage P&L statements, budgets, and financial targets
- Strong leadership with proven ability to motivate and coach teams
- Excellent guest service and conflict resolution skills
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification required)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, POS systems, and scheduling software
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Successful completion of a background check
- Fluency in Spanish a plus
Working Schedule
This is a full-time, salaried role that requires a flexible schedule. General Managers are expected to work Monday through Friday, with availability every weekend and full weekends as needed to support park operations and events.
