Position Summary

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable team members to join us at Slick City Action Park! As part of our crew, you’ll help keep the park running smoothly, welcome guests with energy, and create safe, unforgettable experiences. Key Responsibilities1. Guest Greeting & Service

• Welcome guests to the café, provide friendly service, and guide them through menu options.

2. Sales & Upselling

• Communicate menu details clearly, answer guest questions, and promote add-ons, combos, or specials to enhance the guest experience.

3. Order Processing & Payment

• Accurately take orders, operate the POS system, handle payments, and issue pagers or receipts as needed.

4. Food Preparation & Safety

• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

5. Guest Orders & Delivery

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of prepared items to guests; call orders or manage pager system efficiently.

6. Stocking & Cleanliness

• Restock supplies and inventory as needed. Maintain a clean, organized café area, including counters, equipment, and guest seating.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college a plus).
• Prior experience in a guest-facing role (entertainment, hospitality, retail, or recreation) preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to enforce rules while staying friendly and professional.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to stay alert in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling basic transactions and using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must successfully complete a background check.
• Bilingual skills are a plus and valued in serving our diverse guest community.

Physical Requirements (if applicable)

• Ability to stand and remain active on your feet for extended periods of time (up to 6–8 hours per shift).
• Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, and stretch while supervising attractions and assisting guests.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. (e.g., restocking supplies, moving equipment, assisting with party/event setups).
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations, including moving rapidly across attractions.
• Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced environment with flashing lights and high guest activity.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members in a noisy environment.

Work Schedule

Team members may be scheduled for a variety of shifts, including morning, day, evening, or night shifts. Shifts are typically up to 8 hours, and flexibility is required to meet the needs of the park.
