Group Events, Private Rentals & Fundraising FAQs
Any group of 15 or more qualifies for group event pricing and discounted rates. Group pricing is based on the total number of guests and how long your group wants to stay—60, 90, or 120 minutes. Groups also receive discounted CitySocks, making it a great option for schools, teams, organizations, and large gatherings.
Group events take place while the park is open to the public or before it opens to the public. For example, if the park opens at 1:00 PM and a school visits at 10:00 AM, that visit would qualify as a group event with group pricing.
Private park rentals apply when a group wants exclusive access during hours the park would normally be open or after normal operating hours. For example, if a group wants the park to themselves starting at 1:00 PM, or if the park typically closes at 8:00 PM and a group wants to visit from 8:00–10:00 PM, that would be considered a private park rental.
We recommend booking group events 1–2 weeks in advance to ensure proper staffing and availability. Private park rentals require at least 30 days’ notice. In some cases, we may be able to accommodate requests with shorter notice depending on availability.
Yes. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your event date. In some cases—such as school events paid by check, where the person booking is not the person submitting payment—we may be able to make an exception. Our events team can help coordinate payment details.
Yes. Group events may include food and drinks through customizable packages, or groups may bring in outside food and drinks for an outside food fee. Private park rentals may bring in their own food and drinks at no additional fee, since the entire park is reserved for your group.
