Assistant Manager

The assistant manager will drive growth, boost brand awareness, recruit and develop a dynamic team and enhance the guest experience while fostering a positive work culture.

Our Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for a natural leader with strong organizational skills to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing a diverse team, and fostering a positive, uplifting work place culture. Must be able to handle challenging guests and take direction effectively.

Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional guest service
  • Promote a positive and uplifting culture throughout the park
  • Support sales culture, growth, and productivity objectives
  • Monitor proper maintenance and inventory of the facility and equipment
  • Maintain a healthy and safe environment for guests and team members by adhering to safety and sanitation standards
  • Train new team members and inspire exemplary service and operational excellence
  • Work successfully within diversity
  • Manage guest escalations and maintain brand expectations
  • Maintain proper team member/employer relations and address any questions promptly, including disciplinary actions, recognition and performance
  • Open and close the facility on specified weekdays and weekends
  • Work as a team with other management team members
  • Works under the direct supervision of the GM, who will indicate general assignments, limitations and priorities
  • Perform any additional services or duties as requested by Management

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Supervisor level experience, preferably in the entertainment, hospitality, or retail industry
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict management skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
  • Soft sales skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
  • Relates well to customers of all ages
  • Great attitude and strong work ethic
  • Maintain a cheerful, positive attitude with willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Job Type: Part or Full Time

Pay: Starting at $18-$20 per hour, based on experience

Experience:

  • Management: 1 year (Required)
